Amy Gammon is raised and trained in St. Louis, Missouri, where she holds a strong passion for dance, teaching, and choreography.
She has been on faculty with Performing Arts Centre for 9 years teaching tap, lyrical, jazz & hip hop. Ms. Gammon holds a BA in Dance from Lindenwood University and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis on Dance. Amy has taught for Tap The Map, Greater St. Louis Cecchetti Committee, has set choreography for several area dance teams and is also an Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood University for 3 years. She has taught at local dance studios as a guest artist in areas of tap and hip hop. Amy has taught at the regional conference of American College Dance Association under Lindenwood University for five years. Ms. Gammon is a member of Dance Masters, a fourth year attendee at DMA’s Teachers Training School earning the Bachna Scholarship, and serves on the board of directors for The DANCE CO. of St. Charles. Amy shares a true passion for the art of teaching dance, along with the creativeness behind choreography.
